About Learning Ways

Learning Ways offers private and small group tutoring for preschool to Year 6 students, in the heart of Double Bay. Our main focus is to meet the individual learning needs of each of our students. Learning Ways recognises that students have different learning styles and we will cater for your child to ensure they reach their academic goals. At Learning Ways, we have an in-depth content knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and a deep passion for developing young minds.

Lisa Mauric – Director at Learning Ways

Bachelor of Education (Primary) Honours Class 1, University of Sydney

Lisa is a driven primary school teacher, educational consultant and Founder of Learning Ways. She has over 10 years teaching experience in the Catholic, Public and Independent school sectors, in Australia and the UK. Lisa’s mastery of the curriculum extends to significant expertise in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and other inquiry based learning approaches. Her detailed understanding of current educational content and trends allows her to provide lessons tailored to the individual. These experiences promote improvement, understanding and effective results for her students.

Lisa taught my son in Year 1 and continues to tutor him in Year 5. The consistency has been so beneficial for him and he enjoys every session with Lisa.

Lisa is a great teacher and tutor. She is always willing to go above and beyond to help my child in any way he needs. His confidence and grades have both improved since working with Lisa, especially his comprehension skills. We also no longer have fights over getting homework done!
